MOBILE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER │ THE CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION AND FORT CONDE INN │ JENNY + DENVER
I absolutely love the charm of downtown Mobile. Put me on a gorgeous, picture perfect wedding day smack dab in the middle of downtown and just lay me to rest there. THIS is why we do what we do: so much love, so much beauty, so much charm!
Jenny and Denver began getting ready at the ever gorgeous Fort Conde Inn in downtown Mobile. This place is magic. It’s literally like a quaint little village hidden away from the hustle bustle of Mobile with beautiful historic cottages lining red brick streets. The bridesmaids and groomsmen each had their own cottage to hang out and get ready in which makes this particular location extremely convenient for a wedding photographer! 🙂
Jenny’s dress was the perfect classic gown with a modern twist and her beautiful group of blue bridesmaids were her perfect accessory! Jenny might also get the prize for the best ring I’ve ever seen!
To begin our wedding day festivities, the couple had their first look on the black and white checkered porch of the Inn. We went on to have family formals before the ceremony in the beautiful courtyard. A trolley then carried us to the Cathedral where the couple exchanged their vows. The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is a S T U N N I N G location, from the outside courtyard and pillars to the magnificent stained glass windows and white marble floor. I’m so glad we made time to take portraits at both locations!!
After a wonderful ceremony, the party was escorted via trolley back to Fort Conde Inn where friends and family partied in the streets with the majestic lit towers of downtown Mobile as the backdrop. Everything from the delicious sweets and catering to the DJ who did not disappoint this crowd was perfect! In conclusion, this wedding definitely tops our favorite list this year! 🙂
